Everything happens for a reason
My grandpa used to say, “things just happen.”
They do, they happen. That’s the world working by scientific logic.
They do, they happen. That’s God’s world working by human free will.
Everything that happens in life does “just happen”. Here’s the thing, God doesn’t cause it, He just allows it. It’s up to you to be positive or negative about it.
When I react, I remember it’s for God. Whether I believe it or not, everything I do, good or bad, is for God. We are all created by God, for God. Romans 11:36 says, “From Him and through Him and for Him are all things.”
Life has a reason for everything. We just can’t know the reason why at the time. Everything in life, the car crash, my postpartum journey, all of it, is my own choosing. I make the decision, but whether I want it to or not, is for God.
How I respond to the situation is up to me. But to think it’s for someone, motivates me. It motivates me even more to know everything I do is for God.
I could be 6 ft. under, but I’m not. I choose to use what has happened to me as an example for people to positively look at life. We should because, whether someone believes it or not, they are living for God.
Everyone. The poor person down the road, the rich person around the block, the Christian to my right, the atheist on my left, and the agnostic right in front of me. We are all living for God, whether we choose to or not.
I go crazy about God because I’m so grateful to Him. I willingly serve Him. I get that that makes people feel uncomfortable.
I could say, “well, that’s your problem.” Instead, I need to live my life like a person of Christ with love and kindness in my heart. Hopefully, people will learn by my actions.
I can’t control what people believe. It’s opinionated. I can control how I’m perceived to others. If I talk about religion too much, others may feel awkward. I need to save it for the classroom or this blog.
I just need to be the caring and loving person Christ made me, so I can live my life and honor him by loving others.
I love you. Amber
