Vintage Strawberry Shortcake Ceramic Pedestal Footed Cake Plate Dome Cover/plate

​This two-piece ceramic set consists of a cake cover and a pedestal footed cake plate/stand.
The cover is shaped and glazed to resemble a highly realistic, delicious three-layer shortcake. It features three textured, golden-brown cake layers separated by generous dollops of white, billowy whipped cream-like glaze. The layers and top are adorned with numerous bright red, realistic 3D strawberries.
The very top strawberry serves as the handle or finial.
The base is a classic pedestal-style cake plate. The plate has a flat serving surface with a raised inner ring to securely seat the cake dome, preventing it from sliding off.
​Exterior In excellent vintage condition with a glossy glaze. No obvious chips or cracks visible on display, mostly; there are a few noticeable chips under the rim when lid is lifted. Please see photos, no chips on base
