Vintage Pair of Barley Twist Brass/Bronze Candlesticks. The candlesticks feature a distinctive "barley twist" or spiral column design, an ancient decorative element also known as a Solomonic column. This style was popular in Jacobean-era furniture and experienced revivals during the Victorian era and the early 20th century, a time frame these items likely fall into. These lamps are heavy with a total weight of approximately 6 pounds. The graduated pieces measure approximately 13.5 and 11 inches. I have 2 sets of these. Each set sold separately.
