Gorgeous hand carved wooden mask, this piece is signed on the back Alex Slutsky, 1972. I do not know if this was the artist, or if this individual collected this piece and added the signature. It is a heavy piece of solid wood, weighing 3 1/2 pounds. The artist was talented, as the mask has been carved into the wood with the natural grain of the wood complimenting the curves of the nose and cheek. Piece has a natural fissure occurring along it's right eye upward. It has wire on the back and is ready to hang. Great piece of artist work that brings tribal vibes to your decor!
